In 2023, we continued to focus on our sustainability goals:
Boxon develops smart solutions for the safe packaging of headlights and taillights
The automotive industry is known for its technological advances and precision engineering. But behind the scenes, there is a challenge that is often overlooked: the safe shipping of lamps. These vital components play a key role in vehicle safety and design, but transportation can come with numerous problems.
This year we choose to support Operation Smile, an international aid organization that was founded in the USA in 1982 and in Sweden in 2010.
A child with a cleft lip, jaw or palate is born as often as every three minutes somewhere in the world. Operation Smile works to build skills among healthcare workers around the world, to enable these children to get the right help.
For Christmas 2023, Boxon will donate 2500 EUR to Operation Smile.
Our corrugated cardboard pallet support is an innovative product that helps our customers transport longer goods, reducing transportation costs by up to 50%.

2023 is coming to an end and we would like to thank everyone for an exciting year.

We continue to invest in modern printing technology and digital solutions. Our new acquisition, the new state-of-the-art printing press BOBST Master M5, will give us new improved production possibilities and open up new markets.
The shopping party of the year is almost here! To reduce the environmental impact during Black Friday, we have listed some of our good alternatives in packaging, filling materials and tape that are more sustainable.
Boxon Thailand
We are proud to announce the establishment of a new subsidiary in Bangkok, Thailand. The new company will offer innovative and sustainable packaging solutions in the region.
We welcome Fredrik Ståhl as the new CEO!
We are proud to announce that Fredrik Ståhl has been employed as CEO of Boxon Group. With previous experience in developing companies to reach new heights, he will work to ensure that we continue to add value to our customers and that our offering becomes even more optimal.

2022 was characterized by great focus and hard work within Sustainability and Innovation at Boxon! A new sustainability strategy was developed with three cornerstones in focus:

We are both happy and proud to finally be able to present our new graphic profile and updated strategy.
We have been in the packaging industry for over 90 years and even if our core values still are the same, we now present our new strategy and graphical profile.

Falkenberg Strandbad was filled with Boxonites
During a two-day conference, approx. 270 Boxonites from all over the world met to get to know each other better and exchange experiences. It was a very successful weekend that had everything, including nice weather.
Boxon invests in solar cells with Öresundskraft as its partner
Boxon is proud to announce that we have begun the installation of solar cells at our central warehouse in Helsingborg. The 2,400 square metre installation of solar cells is another step towards achieving our sustainability goals by 2030.
Boxon enters into an agreement with Öresundskraft to offset climate emissions.
We at Boxon are very proud to announce that we have signed an intentional agreement with Öresundskraft regarding the purchase of negative emission certificates. By doing this, we can compensate for climate emissions that are difficult to remove in other ways.
Boxon is ranked top 5% in sustainability by EcoVadis.
Every year, EcoVadis, an industry-leading supplier of sustainability assessments, evaluates companies around the world.
Boxon is very proud to have been awarded EcoVadis Gold for its sustainability work in 2022. EcoVadis Gold is the second highest level of recognition you can receive.
The world's best packaging solutions have once again been awarded WorldStars.
We are proud to announce that Boxon Oy's packaging/design team has won the greatest award within the packaging industry – a WorldStar Award in the Electronics category with the BoxCor® Corrosion Prevention box.
From January 1, 2023, Boxon takes an important sustainable position and completely stops buying PVC packaging tape. Instead, we will offer our customers other alternatives with a lower environmental impact.

Christmas Calendar for Netthandelsgruppen AS
The phenomenon of Christmas calendars has increased explosively in recent years. Netthandelsgruppen wanted to offer a calendar with eatable products, that also were suger-free.
This year we had the opportunity to help them produce this calendar.
As part of our sustainability work, we also want to work for a more sustainable society with efforts and commitment that really make a difference.

The best packaging in the Nordics has once again been awarded in ScanStar's packaging competition. We are very proud to announce that Boxon's BoxCor® box has won a ScanStar 2022.
Scanstar is a joint Nordic packaging competition held annually since 1969 by the Scandinavian Packaging Association SPA.
