Frame Tray is an innovative packaging standard in the automotive industry that opens up opportunities for extremely favourable cost optimisation throughout the whole logistics and supply chain.
The system is an optimised, recyclable, injection-moulded tray solution, designed specifically for each component – a scaled-down and customised packaging solution with transport, handling and packaging cost in mind.
This Frame Tray system is unique in many respects. Compared with traditional handling in the automotive industry, the system can offer up to 50% improved packing capacity.
The actual system is structured in a “closed” handling loop, with recycling centres set up close to the factory to recover old trays. The recycled material is sent back and reused in the production of new, clean trays.

The trays are manufactured in all sizes from 1,200 x 1,200 mm down to 400 x 300 mm, and are in many cases produced as return solutions in flows with a long useful life.
