Science Based Targets (SBT) is a method of setting science-based climate targets in line with the Paris Agreement. This allows us to accelerate our efforts and contribute to low carbon emissions. Our absolute CO₂e targets for 2030, and the net zero target for 2040, have been approved through the Science Based Target Initiative (SBTi).
To achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions, we have joined Science Based Targets. We also work with our independent partner, myclimate, to calculate our company’s carbon footprint (CCF). CCF represents all emissions caused by our operations, excluding our suppliers' production and products. In accordance with SBTi, we have started mapping the CO2e emissions throughout our value chain – Scope 3.
