Take a look at our guide where we have made a simple compilation of different constructions.

Quick facts about Corrugated

Corrugated cardboard is one of the most common packaging materials on the market today, thanks to its versatility and cost-effectiveness. The wide use of corrugated board is due to its strength, durability and flexibility. In addition, with the latest developments in printing technology, it is possible to create attractive and colorful packaging, including four-color printing, which can help reinforce a brand's visual identity.

Slotted-type boxes are standard corrugated cardboard packaging. They are produced in a machine that presses, folds, slits and glues the corrugated cardboard into finished boxes.

Die-cut boxes are another popular type of corrugated packaging, especially when greater precision and dimensional accuracy are required. The boxes are punched in a plane or rotary punch.

Recycled fiber-based corrugated cardboard is used more and more often in box production. Return fiber liner (test liner) and return fiber fluting are made from recycled paper, making it a more environmentally friendly option. Corrugated cardboard made from recycled fiber is, however, generally weaker than corrugated cardboard made from virgin fibre.
